Disliked{quote} FFCal: "Additional news per settings is not scheduled" Discussed over last two weeks. Go back and read. The soon coming upgrades for 2015 will have fix, too. Basically, for now, if I remember correctly, you need to delete the .xml file from the folder it is in. The indicator will automatically replace it with whatever new .xml file FF has. It should work. But a beta for 2015 was posted, so go find it, also. Sonikers, if I am wrong on this, please post correction. tks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edit: Sonikers, Just had PM regarding Windows 8 user that notes the .xml file that FFCal retrieves seems to be from 2013! Friday, I had a final event that after it occurred displayed 500+ days "since" it occurred. I sent a contact message to FF about this. So, there might be some things going on with FF, too. This is up in the air right now. atstrader is working on it, but does not use Widows 8, so any issue there is problematic. Currently, my FFCal indy is not retrieving the current new week .xml file at all! It is retrieving the .xml file from last week! And I have sent another FF contact message to Twee about this. Let's just see how this evolves..... -tahIgnored
We know that. What we don't know is if FF is at fault temporarily here, or if we need new coding for retrieval of the .xml file. And if the latter is the case, than what new coding is it that will work?
My FFCal is retrieving last week's file, not the new week file. So, it is getting the file. I suspect FF is at fault here and will eventually realize that somebody there is not doing their job, or is doing a very poor job.
