Disliked{quote} Yeah still a good trade though. I saw the setup but have been focused on the cable all day so nicely done. I must admit I am normally out too early in my trades and always seem to leave pips on the table. Take all my trades today, first one (2 trades) I took 10 pips and left another 25 on the table. My last trade I TP at the previous low but in fact it went 20 pips further south, although not quite the 1:1 I would have exited manually at the second failure to get NSL and still got another 15 pips from it. I am not too concerned about this...Ignored
I always maintain that it's OK to exit early if you have logical and objective reasoning for it, because a lesson can still be learnt. It helps us to refine our exit skills, which many will argue are more important than entry skills.
It's much harder to learn anything if the motivation for the exit is "oh no! I need to exit because I don't want to give back all my pips!", even if that turns out to be coincidentally correct! I've certainly been guilty of that in the past!
