DislikedHello LITEchild, many thanks for the charts!! Is there a chance that you can show us when you entered the trades?Ignored
Disliked{quote} Is it correct to say that in a ranging market (ie. no strong trend) we can expect alterning confirmed TZs. I mean, once we have a bottom confirmed Tz the next TZ will usually be a top TZ. So in that expectation we trade away from the last confirmed one until a PTZ (potential TZ) starts forming. If the PTZ is invalidated we expect some further move...? Is this what you are doing here? BTW great trades, very interesting strategy.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Excellent question. What would be a better question is : "How can I test the proposition that we can expect alternating confirmed TZs in a ranging market?" Now, how would you answer this question?Ignored

Disliked{quote} In theory 2 consecutive full formed (confirmed) TZs pointing in the same direction are very unlikely, but not excluded. On any chart, if h is big enough, I see alterning TZs as the rule (backtesting confirms this).Ignored
Disliked{quote}To the second chart posted by LITEchild {image} Why did you expect the price to rise? Not so clear to me, as the last TZ points down.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi My Friend, in my personal opinion technically we can create that kind indicator, but principally we can't do that. I believe almost anything we do always base on history or references or previous experiences. 'Visually' maybe we can hide the left side, but on calculation inside the indicator, could you imagine how difficult to start count without anything to look at..? best regard MTHIgnored
Disliked{quote} Like I said earlier, based on my understanding, the probabilities are much more tied to PTZs as opposed to CTZs. {quote} Take a good look at the price I was filled at. If price had simply kept going down(like it usually does in many cases like this), My trade would simply not have been triggered. For me to be committed to make an entry, price had to do something RARE! I really I'm saying too much now and should probably shut up.Ignored
Disliked{quote} That could amount to sharing my triggers on a public forum? Not a chance. maybe via pm. maybe. If I'm in a good mood. And If I'm convinced you deserve to know. maybe. Setups are one thing. Triggers are another. EURUSDD encourages everyone to work out their own triggers and keep it secret, remember?Ignored
Disliked{quote}and now back into my black corner for further studying Sundance PS: At the moment don't pm me. I won't deserve it! Give me ~two weeks to be on a higher level of knowledge...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Hi Kiads I think you misunderstand... When the current calculations are made they are looking back in history, say 1000 bars, it currently looks right and left for each of those 1000 bars. I'm asking if it can have the option to only look right. all the best JimIgnored
