Disliked{quote} You are seeing a gap only because your broker trades Dax 15/5. There is no gap on 24/7 charts. Hope that helps. Although, That's not to say the "Gap" will not be closed.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thanks for info..sorry I do not get it...sorry for my " misunderstanding ", maybe You reply to close on Friday at 5:30pm Euro time??Ignored
Disliked{quote} Most brokers only trade dax 15 hrs per day. There are only a few that trade Dax 24hrs per day. It's only natural there will be a "gap" every day with your broker. I like to trade gaps. 90% chance of a successful trade for me. But not with Dax. 50-50 at best.Ignored
Disliked{quote} PS: Check your Dax charts against the DJ & SPX & you will see what I mean.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thanks. I trade Gaps from last week on 4H charts and in FX results are good, today GBPUSD 6251 short on my broker XTB and so far 30 pips. In DAX is really hard even daily..because moves are strong... But..which broker U use?? I just curious...will not change mine.... {image}Ignored

Does that translate into price gains for the individual constituents of the index? I asked my finance professor this a while back and he couldn't really provide a solid answer. So the basic question: When say buying DAX, are we upwardly affecting...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Every lot you buy is actually buying 30:1 lot of each dax component. I hope that answers your question. Happy TradesIgnored
Disliked{quote} I use IG Markets for 24/5 Dax data but I don't trade with them as their spreads, SL restrictions etc are not trader friendly. I see you are in Slovakia. Nagy Attila is in Romania. He has a couple of excellent brokers in your area. I'm sure he will not mind passing them on to you. If you just want the data, open a IG Markets demo account.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Isn't it more "an agreement" to buy it at this price at a future time ? Which in that case means it is not yet settled in "index" yet and therefore has no real impact until settled ? Adding to that most of daytraders and shortterm traders will never go until the settlement time... and the fact that some use CFD which are not even futures contracts for margin and account size reasons.... Sorry Ata-T for questionning more than answeringIgnored
