I have had problems with weird gaps before on IBFX, so that is nothing new to me, and while it is annoying, I have an even bigger issue now that has yet to be resolved. It is similar to scalpz post below, which is why I am quoting it.

DislikedYea, lovely missing bars. Spent a very very long time on the 24hr chat (type and wait ages) line. Finally said that it has been confirmed that there is a problem but cant be fixed until the weekend. Only applys to the new ex ibfx customers on ...09 server (that comes from that mt4r17.fxcorporate.com:433 server stuff). Not good enough ! Soooo while waiting (did I say it took a very very long time) I had exported my demo data for the few pairs & minutes I have set up since starting. After getting the tuff s..t till next week bit and closing...Ignored
With the limited data that does manage to load, it is inaccurate and incomplete, which leads to major discrepancies within my own data. I can manage to load the data MANUALLY by "scrolling to the left", or "punching the left arrow key", but this is extremely frustrating to do on every pair on every time frame, especially considering that this should be happening automatically, and even moreso because I am switching between pairs and time frames constantly!
Like I said, I've spoken to people about this and they have been unable to help. We tried reinstalling MT4. No luck. We deleted the history folder. It worked temporarily, but the next time I would load the platform it is back to these BS problems. They told me they would have the issue fixed by this weekend, but like the poster above me, I think that is unacceptable. It seems this IBFX/FXCM transition has been very poorly managed so far. This is, in theory, a simple problem that never should be happening. And while I did have the occasional "weird gaps" on IBFX prior to this, I NEVER had a problem with history automatically loading. I am on the new "Real09" server as well and wonder if that may have anything to do with this.
Also, I still don't know if FXCM has contacted MetaQuotes yet so that we can use the mobile MT4 platform. I do not want to use Trading Station. It is not good. I get the impression that it was built in about a day or so.
When I call FXCM on the phone, I am greeted with an offer to receive a free $100 prepaid Visa card (c'mon, REALLY?!), another offer to sign up for Dish Network, and then another one still about something I could care less about.
This has been an unpleasant experience as far as my first week trading with FXCM is concerned. I expect this to be resolved quickly (before the weekend) and in a professional manner. It seems I am not the only one with this issue, too.
