Well you sound like an interesting fellow. I can certainly appreciate people who have multiple interests, as I do as well.
The doctors are paying more attention to the triglyceride levels nowadays. I suffer from familial hyperlipidemia myself and the best solution? Why krill oil (Omega-3 esters...), of course. Aspirin comes from willow bark. in other words, while medicine has made great strides, it shouldn't be construed to be the end-all. nature's way is most often best, don't you think?
I am not a physician, so don't let me pretend to be. My training is in radiography, especially Magnetic Resonance Imaging. My point in bringing up the monitors was to introduce a different approach to medicine...thinking outside the box. I know that recently, they have used dogs to "smell" cancer and science has proven that detection of very minute traces of enzyme residuals or by-products of chemical reactions is quite possible.
Why not find the "scent" of a heart attack and monitor that, predict where its going and send an alert if the value is predicted to get out of range? The idea can be extrapolated to everything from proper hydration to determining pheromone levels, allowing a guy to predict the chances of getting laid at any given time.
I find you are a quite sincere person and that is something you rarely find nowadays, especially on a public forum in the 4X community! I am going to give a heavy swing at your methods and learn them cold. When you come back next year, I would like to tell you my success story.
Wish me luck!
