QuoteDislikedI have seen many explanations on this matter, many of them simply wrong,
one would be the ( if the market go down there is more sellers than buyers)
or if the market go up, there is more buyers than sellers, this is simply wrong!
if anyone is saying this to you, then you know he don't know what he is talking about.
Who said that? Number of buyers or sellers is irrelevant. It's about supply and demand.
QuoteDislikedf there is 2 million buyers on EURUSD and there is no one want to sell, there can be no trade at all, price will stand absolutely still,
QuoteDislikedit's because the buyer are prepared to buy the product at a higher price than it is right now, and he do so
So you think that buyers show the way? When price moves up, it means that SELLERS twist buyers arm in order to get a better price.
So when you say prices goes up because buyers are prepayed to buy (order at market), it's not false but the truth is sellers are getting the price they want in order to sell properly. It changes all about the way of analyzing the chart.
