Quoting AlphaPipDislikedHow do I do that? Set them all to 0 or 24?Ignored
Quoting YardieDislikedI am not sure how people are gettinc so many different results with version 2.1. I have been running from before Bernanke speech yesterday and I am looking at 11 wins (6 full at 50 pips and 5 partial) and hypotethically 6 losses. I said hypothetically because I am using a wide stop. But I I was using a 55 or 42 stop I would have been stopped out on them.Ignored
Quoting 4x4txDislikedI'm similar Yardie, I've been running since after Bernanke's speech yesterday too, and still have it running. I'm trading it on the gbp/usd, eur/usd, usd/cad, and usd/chf. I'm 8-0 with one open trade, which is currently about -5 pips. I'm using the SL-55, TP-60, TS-18. All 8 winners have hit trailing stops for gains. At 2 mini lots per trade, profits have run from $2.80 to $58.00. I'm not looking for tremendous wins; i'm looking for consistent wins. Number of lots can always be increased later. (Still demo, by the way)Ignored
Quoting YardieDislikedSO you mean 17 x 60 pips and 3 x 55 pip loss? Or some of those 17 wins are actually trailing stop wins?Ignored

Quoting wackenaDislikedI started 2 demos on Phoenix v2.1 on July 19 ~16:30 GMT on eur/usd, gbp/usd, usd/jpy, usd/chf, aud/usd, eur/gbp, eur/jpy. $5.000 Demos and MM=true, WantToGamble=true.
1st demo - tp=60, sl=55, ts=18. Same timefilters as Hendirck set to EST.
6 wins - no loses - 1 breakeven. Profit = $279.74. (it should be noted that for the 1st 14 hours, I was only running eur/usd, gbp/usd, usd/jpy, usd/chf)
2nd demo - tp=18, sl=42, ts=0. Same timefilters.
8 wins - no loses. Profit = $305.05
What I find interesting about using the ts is that when it can, it adjusts the sl to a point above the Buy entry point or below the Sell entry point. When successful in doing this by the OrderModify function, it makes sure of profits on that order. On Demo 1 above, the 6 wins consist of 5 sl profits and 1 tp profit. COOL.

Quoting BenQDislikedDon't know. Everybody's trading different pairs, might be part of it. Some trading 24 hours, some time filters. Some will trade tomorrow (Friday), other won't.Ignored
if(Point==0.01) valTOT=MathAbs(valTOT)*100; if(Point==0.0001) valTOT=MathAbs(valTOT)*10000;
valTOT=MathAbs(valTOT)*MathPow(10, Digits);
valTOT=MathAbs(valTOT)/Point;
Quoting thebtsDislikedI can see an improvement that can be made with the safe pip distance calculation. At the moment there are some hard code constants for point values. These are not covering all the different values that could be possible (they would depend on what pairs you were using), so the result may not always be correct.
To correct the problem this code:
Inserted Codeif(Point==0.01) valTOT=MathAbs(valTOT)*100; if(Point==0.0001) valTOT=MathAbs(valTOT)*10000;
could be changed to:
Inserted CodevalTOT=MathAbs(valTOT)*MathPow(10, Digits);Ignored
