Disliked{quote} Cut your losers early and let your winners run... while protecting them with trailing stops. I will try to put more screenshots with mistakes in the future, and try to assess them.Ignored
I did that for a long time and mostly I got stopped out with a little profit at breakeven and aftger that, for at least 50% or more, the trade went to my favor diurection for a couple hundred pips without a good re-entry with low risk.
This settings taken from Roger do not really allow a trailing stop in this trade right now.
Sure, can still run to negative and is in a nice profit. BUT compared to the positionsize, its just a really small profit. Putting a trailingstop in here, would for 90% result in gettings stopped out. The trade, so far in 24 hours, went up and down between -130 to +90 euro and its still moving up and down.
I'll definitly sit in this until the IXO2 crosses and so the EA will exit. Same in jpy7, whats running really nice and luckily I exited just before news release and adjusted my positionsize to reflect my account size better.
Both trades run without breakeven and trailingstop, I think, if I look to the history chart, that will work very well without giving too much profit back.
