DislikedAttached are my trades for the week on EUR/AUD H1. As I stated before, nothing has changed with my trading except that I am experimenting with using channels to set targets instead of entering with a fixed target of 50 or 100 pips. Everything else in my trading plan remains the same with price action and TMS trading. The channel you see on the chart is just the one I used for the last couple of trades. There were other channels before that I removed as the week went along because they become obsolete. Still testing but the results this week were...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Most of us just use realistic targets based on ADR, personally I don't manage anything it's either SL or TP for me. Once my trade is opened, I set my sl above a swing high or below a swing low and my target to 50-100 pips and I wait... Depending on the pair I lock b/e after 20 or 30 pips (where 30 is for more volatile pairs). Whatever timeframe you trade, you need to keep an overall eye on PA... From a birds-eye (D1-W1 charts) to zooming in on the M15-M5 charts. Have to take many things into account before taking a trade Hope this helps...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hello, WDays, as regards on what tf to trade best as raised by Wnabo, your reply is keep an eye on PA on D1-W1 Charts & M15-M5 Charts. My question is, do you mean, that the candlesticks slope/gradient need to tally in both D1 and W1 Charts and that applys to M15, M5 Charts. In peak trading sessions, it is possible that to get such similar patterns. Other times, not possible, hence, no trade entry. Is this what you mean, your confirmation is appreciated, thanking you for your guidance. Happy trading, Bye.Ignored
DislikedI had to login to wish wdays good luck with the new thread, a very good start, a friendly and relaxed place to post, very nice wdays I think your post about multi timeframe trades hit the nail on the head about the higher timeframes versus the lower. Many traders look at for example, the daily chart and see its going up so its an uptrend and thats that, today I'm buying. What a lot of them don't take into consideration is any clue that it could be about to turn. As you said, some days we can sell as equally as buy. I take candle patterns into...Ignored
