Disliked{quote} I cannot reconstruct this error, it works on my terminal. The only error I see is that a new order is placed if one has been filled. This should be placed when an open order is closed. I will correct it.Ignored
DislikedRolfW, EA should place total 22 pending orders instead of 20 pending orders. Another thing is that sometimes market is very close to a price level, we won't able to place pending order. EA needs to check such case and place market order instead of pending order.Ignored
DislikedUpdate. Orders should be placed now correctly incl market orders for levels near market price. Levels are also shown in trade comment. Close existing orders (manually or setting EAMode=3) before placing EA. {file}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thanks, I scan through the code. It seems orders always use average price as TP. Could you make as option: 1 Always use Average price. 2. Set TP according to rules in post 1..Ignored
DislikedMy Goodness, look at the Trader Explorer another 4% per day return.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Rolfw, Could you implement the feature for TP mentioned in the quote above? With that feature in place I may be able to experiment with short timeframe.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I implemented this but could not test it as I have only one position open per direction. Needs to close pending orders such as TP is set = 0 for pending orders. {file}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thanks again. Could you try to manually enter a trade and see whether EA will modify TP accordingly?Ignored
Dislikedi did hours of backtests @ home last sunday, the wipe-out is a quite frequent even since 2010 (eurusd). and i think that the most important thing this EA needs is the exit on loss. there has to be an exit when DD is deterioriating. this system needs a stoploss, to put it simple way. take current eurusd as an example, if eu breaks up 1.33 in a few days, i'll be very keen watch this EA's DD conditions. when 70 days zone is breached, SL instantly may be a good idea. {quote}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Have you tried using average TP and used small base lot? I would say GBPUSD is more suitable for this system than EURUSD. Also use common sense. Don't just relying on EA 100%. Manually intervention here and then is required. So far my trader explorer FishNetSystem is fully automated. I am very pleased with 42% return in less than two weeks trading.Ignored
Dislikedactually, my question is very clear and fundamental to the system, when i watching the backtesting chart moving up and down. the question is: what do we do with those losing positions if the price doesn't come back in say, 3 or 4 months? These losing positions are usually account killers. we cannot leave them opened for 3 months, (not forever at all)----what do we do with these negative pos? for the past 2 weeks, this grid system is profitable for a good reason. 70 days is about 3 month on chart. for past 3 ranging months, EU/GU have to be profitable...Ignored
