Disliked{quote} Hi FFleo, sadly, all participants here seem to not be impressed about the fact, that the CASH market is by far the biggest one. Spot, Forward Swaps and Forwards make nearly all the volume, with options only accounting for a tiny fraction. So the question is and remains: do option, option barriers, pin risk etc. play a big role when determining supply and demand? I tend to think yes, because, you can take this data as proxy for sentiment of the participants. But that would only be of value, when the big boys were part of this option games,...Ignored
We just have to do what works for each of us. If closing one's eyes and guessing, then clicking buy or sell works without thinking about anything else and we make 20 million - I say congratulations!!!! We can then remove those funds from the broker and invest in securities, that pay 5% for the year and live off the interest, right CHICKY
In this forum we can discuss all manner of methods with an attempt to share and perhaps open the mind of the readers which I say to you is not a bad thing.
However, without prejudice, let me hasten to say, my learned colleague, if until today, man still cannot create an algorithm to trade through a crash in the market and make money, then the only choice we have as humans is to find the highest probability methodology and use it for as long as it works.
From the insight you've just shared with all of us, I am open to suggestions as to the HOLY GRAIL, that some how, until now, continues to elude us all in our quest for GUARANTEED profits.
Waiting patiently,
Your student,
HDA
