DislikedSuper Juckub, Cant believe i am in 30s and still cant follow rules. Did well for 2 weeks then the losing impulsive mindset came in. Lost all the profts and then some. No wonder in market wizards all the super traders worked under someone before, must have gotten discipline drilled into them. Yellow line is up, still took short, Yellow line is down took long, knowing this is against the rules. How can I stop this? Why do I do this?Ignored
Disliked{quote} I know lot of experienced traders have explained here to look at HTFs, but what procedure do you guys follow? What is the hour by hour procedure during the trading session? Do you check HTFs before every trade? On your MT4 do you have 4 M15 charts open or do you have eg. one pair with 15m, 1h, 4h, d charts and you switch between pairs to see the set-ups? Do you use any written check lists of rules? Sorry lot of questions, but I am sure there are others in same boat as me.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Your situation is the single biggest problem for every trader. Like someone facing an addiction it sounds like you are close to the absolute low and the recognition that what you are doing is not working......... The only suggestion I can give is to absolutely focus on your system rules and then (no surprise here) follow them, you know what they say about repeating the same mistakes and expecting different results. None system trades that win are just as dangerous as none system trades that fail. Discipline is the bridge between goals and...Ignored
Disliked{quote} ...I see two ways to trading on M15… first is looking for trending market, determine direction of trade will do on H4/H1/M15… and waiting on M15 for moves in my direction after pullback, TDI cross, 10EMA bla, bla bla…. 12 pips-15 pips that’s hell lot of money if you do it consistently, the other is to look for reversal on H1 even on H4, and the waiting for pullback on M15 and enter on M15… you can get longer trades with same SL as for 12 pips win… everything needs practicing, and you will choose style more suitable for you. Lot of traders...Ignored

DislikedI'm seeing a trend here, which is something i have had my eye on for a while, but not followed through with. I have tried to remain disciplined, because Arjun's rules are to take the first cross of green TDI over yellow after LO. However there often seem to be YEN set ups towards the end of the asian session and or on the Frankfurt open, this morning being a classic case. Does anyone else agree that YEN trades should be taken before LO?Ignored
