Disliked{quote} i agree in general with your viewpoint, but i think it is a mistake to see these things as nanny-isms.... it is really CRONYISM. the no-hedging, low leverage and other rules (incl no lev at all on Au + Ag) were favors to the brokerages and banks that allowed fx houses to refuse traders the option of hedging, high leverage and such (for their own reasons) w/o suffering a loss of business to competitors who would offer these services. CRONYISM is also what the IRS is about... and it is where the growing support in congress to pass HR25/S122...Ignored
Right on. The cronyism has replaced capitalism here in the U.S. I'm referring to nanny government as their reasoning to control the people. I find it amazing that the rest of the world can do just fine without government intrusion, but the brokers want to further take the risk out on their part and lay more and more rules on the retail market. But that is part of becoming a socialist state.
