DislikedHi,
I guess you just take template from Cobra's system, add Eval's symphonie indiciator, as well as TMA slope and you are ready to go.
Pavel George, please, correct me if I am wrong somewhere.

DislikedHere is a trade today that I took. With GBP/USD using my method from a few posts back. You have nice 1:3 ratio with GBPUSD. 10 pip stop loss/30 pip take profit.Ignored
Dislikedpt49,
Because he was not trading strick Symphonie. He even said so when he started in that he was trading his variation of the Symphonie method.

DislikedFor example, with the EURJPY over the past 7 months, trading from 8am-12pm EST only, letting EURJPY run with default settings you would have made about 770 pips. Trading the sensitive setting combined with the default and taking +30 pips you would have made about 1470 pips (remember only trading 8am-12pm EST). 5M time frame only.Ignored

DislikedStickbow21,
Many thanks for all of the information you have shared. I did have a couple of questions. Do you move your SL as your trade goes into profit? Or do you just set your SL and TP and leave it alone until it either hits the SL or TP?

DislikedCarol,
I do change it to breakeven after i'm in profit 9-10 pips, but otherwise I usually just let it go after that. Sometimes if I really don't like the way things are looking I'll put a +10 SL or even +20 SL (if im up that much) on some rare instances. This depends on the price action, but it is not too often. There are many possible variations to this method, including a trailng stop, but I currently don't use one.Ignored
Dislikedsymphonie margin called me, i was trading the settings you gave me.. and got margin called...
i'm not saying symphonie is a bad system.. it's just not for me.. my way of trading is different than symphonie, so i just need to try something elseIgnored
QuoteDislikedWell i use symphonie for overall direction. i use rsi to see how strong the moves are. symphonie is a good indicator of the overall bias of the markets. As far as the 'open' goes on my rsi indi, it's not very accurate of course because the markets move in all directions before the close of the candle. however it gives me an early sign of what is in play. these are just my personal settings, I'm not giving advice as to how you should trade for yourself. it works well for me, so i implement it every day
DislikedThank you so much for your help. I also live in the Eastern time zone and this looks like it would suit my trading hours as well.

DislikedYou're welcome. Also, I highly recommend that if you do try this method that you fix your charts one to one. This makes things a little more inconvenient because you have to move around manually using your mouse (click and hold), however, it allows you to see S/R much better and keep things in perspective better. Just something I've found very helpful with this method that is not as necessary with other trading strategies.Ignored
