Best Call of year in FF:
- Piters Posted the afternoon the Euro marked the low of of the year in July. Simply a superb call.
...... ... but my charts are clear, weekly,Daily, 4h, and 1h.. aligned for a nice push up.... I am buying every single weakness.. ........we are up to a nice correction.
...looks confusing and without any fundamental background for now..-TA, but learned my way since 2007/2008 and When charts aligned Im not going short.... I go everytime long on any market weakness.
Best Fib/EW/chartist of the year in FF:
- Infinitus. Pure quality charts and EW analysis. Obsessive with his counts but adapts very quickly when winds changes.... Just check the chart in the quote (or any) you can find lots of valid information. If you have a question on EW look no further. An authority in the field in FF.
Runner-up: FXMindset
Most influential trader in FF:
- Gatorinla. Wherever he posts he attracts lots of readers. Always around from market open to close. A brilliant math brain behind his levels and trades with a unique TA perspective. He is by far the most recognized member in FF. A trader machine that never stops or bother with the surroundings....
Runner-up: ak4x
Most Consistent TA poster of the year in FF:
- Gleneagles. Same trades, same charts same setups, same 12 pipers in and out every single day. The most consistent and prolly successful micro intraday trader around. His charts and trades should be a sticky for all the newcomers around looking for the Holy Grail using thousand of indicators .... pure basic price action in a perfect defined range ....
Runner-up: USD-Bear
Most interesting and knowledgeable poster:
- PayTheLimit. Top poster in FF. His charts and trading views are to the point. Many overlook the power of his levels and comments because as a good experienced trader knows exactly what he is doing and doesn't need to chew it for the rest. A must read poster. His non trading posts are equally good with a superb sense of humor. To complete the deal he has bags and bags of anecdotes and experiences that make him definitively a top poster to read.
No need my friend ,I read it. Didnt know Lewis personally, but during his hayday he was one of, if not the biggest trader in the s&P pit. Tough fucking guy he was, and fucking mean looking. He made one thiing very clear, dont fuck with me, was the impression you got right off the bat. He broke his fair share of noses down there, lol.
Runner-up: OldQuant
And finally ....
Best Poster Of The Year
- kenfen69 . Although officially the RUT started late in 2011, it went "viral" 2012. An amazing achievement in FF. He managed what many have tried and failed before: Create a superb alternative for the monopoly EUR/USD thread. Showing that you can have quality posts with chit chat and still attract lots of readers without needing to post only naked chicks (although killer and others always fill the gap when need it in between). Over 10,800,000 views say it all. Without Ken patience and micromanaging moderating this thread some of us would have left FF. A superb trader and person. You deserve this one mate ...
Best Thread Of The Year in Trading Systems:
- The contest in this category was declared void
Best Thread Of The Year in Trading Forums:
- Charts on Drugs or works of Art? Just brilliant. One of my favorite threads in FF. This thread need to be a sticky post. In urgent need of some extra contributions. It should be a mandatory stop for all new traders of HOW chart's shouldn't look.
Best Thread Of The Year in Interactive Forums:
- EurAnalysis Despite been caught in the wrong side of the directional bias this year (the perma bears in FF), this thread provides quality content and attract some low profile excellent posters in FF. PipTrapper does a fantastic job moderating the thread, keeping it most of the time on topic with a balanced open space for different views and opinions. Like most of the time, when a thread is managed by only 1 person, there are lot of useless cheerliding from newbies but it usually stays as background noise when some FA post come around and rules the thread from some pages. Without a doubt, one of the few "endangered" places that Fundamental issues and major economic reports about the Euro/USD pair can be discussed in FF.
Best Overall Thread Of The Year:
- The Really Useless Thread:By far the best quality/posters ratio in FF. Some serious and skilled traders hang around mostly a few minutes a day for a good laugh and chit chat but man when they talk markets and trading you better listen as there are plenty of quality TA and FA information for every taste and every timeframe around. Mostly quiet during active market hours but busy before key events and moves and after hours. That just say it all....
A quick quote from the thread
"I'm not going to say this thread is "the best" because that's a pretty difficult thing to quantify, but...pound for pound...this is still by far my favourite (and pretty much only) place to hang in "The Factory"...and that's because of everyone that posts here. Great group of people. A lot of fun...a lot of knowledge...a lot of history, at this point."
Best of luck to all this year ....
