DislikedThis never happened to me,max spread i've seen on euro/usd is 1.6 Please note that Armada markets uses LMAX as liquidity provider and they add their own spread markup.
P.S Please keep this thread to LMAX only,if you want to disccuss about Armada markets,go to their thread

DislikedArmada markets uses LMAX as liquidity provider so chat about Armada in this thread (and Fastbrokers, fxmtf etc.) is fair game as far as I am concerned....Ignored
DislikedLOL this is funny
i probably now why this happened ... the reason maybe that LMAX isnt on the paylist of FF .. or vice versa .. u get the point
this thread is one of the hottest ones in the broker section and gained alot of attention.. wich is good for LMAX (traffic)
but if they dont pay to FF (advertizing) .. they get a commercial status ... who cares ?
not me...

DislikedI kinda think it was a mistake on FF's end, like *clicked the wrong button* mistake. It's usually the Armada threads that get commercialized or binned, and the new Armada thread was right below the LMAX in the broker forum... they could have mistakenly selected the wrong one to move, since the Armada one is still there, and it wouldn't be the first time a thread was moved by mistake.
Just flag this thread and let them know.Ignored
DislikedYes, it is equal to trash bin. This move should have been expected though.
If you google the thread title you'll know that the person who strarted this thread also started the same thread under the same title in other trading forums like elitetrader.com
I can't find a reasonable explanation other than the thread started is soliciting service and promoting logo on behalf of his employer (Lmax or Armada).Ignored
DislikedI don't think that is a reason, because most of the times when I start a tread here in FF I also start in at least two other forums, specially if nobody answers me in FF.Ignored

DislikedApparently a broker needs a ff banner to stay in the non-commercial area?
BTW, there was a management buyout at LMax, current management now holds 66%, Betfair 33%. The 66% stake did cost 2.4mm - thats nothing, a very small fraction of development costs Betfair sunk into this.
My prediction is that they will stop servicing retail accounts sooner rather than later. Retail means high compliance and support costs, if you arent really big its not worth it, especially with a low margin agency business. I think they will concentrate on fewer but...Ignored
QuoteDislikedThanks for the heads up here! The reason we moved this to the Commercial Forum was because there was just too much promotion from Armada in this thread. I think you already know that we have been battling their spamming campaign for a little over a year now (you’ve got to respect their relentlessness!). If you see any mention of Armada anywhere please let me know and if you can, let anyone that you know that’s the reason for the thread move and our stance against Armada!
