I've been coding for a while now and came up with this idea for a dashboard and indicator. The code is reasonably tight in comparison to my earlier efforts. This will be useful for equity millipede fans.
The dashboard displays all the pairs that VantageFX offer that have a decent amount of history/no recent data corruption.
It displays them as lime if the current price is above the 3 sma of the typical price (the pivot point ma) on the daily, weekly and monthly. If they are all below then they will be red. If they are mixed, ie some above and some below then they will be in white.
This obviously tells you which pairs are trending well on all timeframes. If a pair is highlighted green then you may want to take long positions only and build your leg and the opposite, red for shorts. If it is white you may want to leave the pair alone.
The above assumes you have read the equity millipede thread which is in the systems section. I would have posted this there but I am a commercial member and so am not allowed.
If your broker doesn't offer some of the instruments I have put in there or you want to add some more of your own then go to the following line...
Just delete/add the instruments you need to (follow the pattern).
Then take the last value for pairss. In the code it is currently 33, add 1 to it to get 34. Now change any code where there is a "34" to the number you have in your list (+1) and hit compile at the top. If you have done it right it should work fine. If you need any help just ask.
I've attached a template for the dashboard and also a suggested template for your trading screen with the "one pair" indie which shows you red and green for up and down for each pair and also some round numbers drawn for guides. You can obviously change this to whatever you want. I like stochastics and sometimes cci but it's up to you.
You will need to adjust the x and y settings in the indicator to be able to see it on your screen. If you can't see it at all try 0 for both settings and then increase the x to move it along the screen until it looks right.
I hope someone finds this useful.
