Dislikedso... following last nights pattern, .eu will start heading down to convince me it really is falling. then, moments later it will be: "Bang! Zoom! to the moon" - Ralph Cramden, ca 1956Ignored
Dislikedoh noo noo you are getting it wrong. TNX is the candlestick, those lines are for something else. I'm taking about PA, and price could be pull down to support on 365,200 EMA. This because there is a relationship between bonds-equities-currencies-commodities. This is not suggesting a SELL NOW, this suggest a possible bearish bias.Ignored

Dislikedwell i dunno if that will happen, but my bias is bearish on daily since october 5th. Also i couldnt find any reason to buy eurousd. Whats your bias at this time? I usually do intermarket analysis thats why i posted the TNX chart. Do you do intermarket analysis?Ignored
Dislikedwell as intermarket: i'm always watching the majors plus CLxx, TNX, ESxx, DJI, Gold, and Silver across several screens...
but my bias tonight is: i am not smart enough to figure out what this market is up to so i am become a momentum trader temporarily... if it takes off in one direction real fast, i'm gonna follow the damn thing with a really tight stop!Ignored
DislikedWhat is CLxx?, Do you mean ESX as the European Stock Index? I have one really good book about intermarket analysis maybe it will help you. This is one of my favs and the author is John G. Murphy... is awesomeee. Intermarket analysis give you an idea of the BIG PICTURE. And by BIg I mean the 4 main markets.

DislikedCLxx and ESxx are the futures contract symbols for Sweet Light Crude and Standard & Poor E-mini (xx would be a contract month/year code ...exact format varies from broker to broker) - oh, and, forgot dollar index (which seems to be having trouble getting above resistance at 80.00)
in the last three years, correlations between currency pairs and other assets has become relatively erratic... you used to be able to trade .eu by watching CLxx --- not anymore.
i don't think i've seen that book, will have to check it out later... thanx!

Dislikedoh, right my ticker in thinkorswim is /Cl and /ES, tnx for the explanation. Well on assets like /Cl yes, but on equities, bonds and commodities the relationship still holds. I never couldnt understand how people define risk on and risk off based on short time frames, because "smart money" usually holds positions longer... so risk on and risk off based on intraday movements for me, mean nothing.... BUT this is my opinion maybe you could explain me a little bit more about risk on and off on intraday basis... (I understand that managers balance their...Ignored
