Dislikedthis is a discussion i have had with smikester and skynet, among others
real stories about QE1, 2 and the LTROs and one specifically that came up with ingmar last night in a few PMs over a sophisticated options trader i knew who blew one of the best rallies ever on the S&P last year because price defied fundamentals and technicals as it climbed ever higher......not the first i have seen either
i disagree, but that is all right. i think trading FA is subjective and subject to interpretation much as technical analysis is...Ignored
Nobody hold absolute truths.
We here to share our perception/non perception for the benefit of this group.
It is all subjective, it is all in the eye of perceiver and if not aware of it, the perception can obstruct the view (another perception).
Trading is hard mostly because we have to deal with ourselves, that is why I like to make it easier for myself, for me it is all in bar, I do not let anybody influence my interpretation, no one. Every candle for me has a major significance even the most insignificant.
TA is an art form not science, "yourself" needs to be brought in to it, without it, all the "knowledge"(whatever that means) acquired will be of not any use.
It is just like making love, I can tell you what to do, but if you do not bring yourself, your joy, your pain, your fear, your tenacity and then let it all go, you will not feel the pleasure.
Chaos is the law of nature; order is the dream of man.
