DislikedCan someone Please tell me where to get started on supply and demand ??? Its been like two months and I still don't understand a thing about supply and demand . I tried reading the red's thread but I cannot grasp a thing because I have a weak point , I can not make sense of stuff while reading the thread with the learning intention ... I have heard sam seiden name , but what ever video I open of his , in every one of them , he's explaining the advance stuff . I want to learn the basics first . Help me out . One thing I would most prefer is for...Ignored
Welcome to the party.
Here's what worked for me (wasn't really linear, but it was continuous)
Sam Seiden Webinars on FxStreet.com (all 30 videos - I'm going through the 4th round now)
Michael - Ifmyante's Videos on Youtube (They're really indispensable but you may need to learn how to identify the bread-and-butter simple basic zones first to be able to keep up)
Ifmyante's charts - (They will propel you to the next level)
KennyZ's summary of PIE (just brilliant- especially the stuff about CP and seeing one man's hard work and dedication in learning and sharing is inspiring in itself)
Romancing the Price (almost the holy grail, but you probably need a lot of hours before you truly appreciate Kenny's charts)
Redsword11 (what more can i say? just take a look at his results - almost every single trade was PRE-posted before the fact)
Balhanna and Lovejoy80's charts on LJ's thread - they're both fantastic
Julexo's thread PA by Julexo - the guy's a legend...
Live experience - draw 10,000 supply and demand levels and ask a million questions - it tends to create space which can and probably WILL get filled eventually, if not quickly and the MORE SPACE you have(created), the more DRAMATIC, RADICAL SPACE you have, the easier and quicker[b] it will be filled once the answer comes to you and yes the answers are all there
Go get 'em!
*edit* - whiteout's e-book on compression (cp) is also very nice - sorry buddy, forgot to mention it - it really helped me as well
furthermore, the posts (no particular order) by Tyoon, bbakker, Emene, Frankkn, Dropped Onion, Venice, trade_price, Orbital and the other legends.... are pretty amazing too
*edit* sometimes you get two opposing forces (ideas, etc) and you tend to bounce back and forth between the two points... and once you break through that, if it does go too far too quickly, it may come back and retest the last point where you finalized the decision to break out... but fear not, because more often than not, it will resume its(your) initial direction if you have enough space created on the way back and so forth.
last but not least, sometimes you may even feel like you are getting stuck between two ideas and the overall direction may even appear to be going south but it may simply mean that you're waiting and ready to be enlightened by a greater force which can cut through all the mess almost effortlessly, so if you ever feel like there's too much compression (or pressure, stress).... get ready for another breakthrough baby! when you do hit the right level, the compression will almost evaporate into thin air with ease
final point i promise... - sometimes you may find a certain area or sticking point where you're hitting it again and again and feel like you're actually not going to get through at all, but in many cases, it's not an illusion but it's probably not as significant and that with each attempt that you push through, when you do eventually push through it, you may find that old level's not even relevant anymore
