DislikedVO-Pro v2.33 can now be downloaded from post #1.
The following enhancements are available in v2.33:
1. VO-Pro is now capable of factoring commissions, swaps and other costs into its position sizing, risk and return calculations.
You can enter a either a pip, or dollar value, of any commission, swap or other transaction cost, per full lot, per roundtrip trade, into the Extra Costs field in VOConsole, as shown in the attached screenshot.

DislikedHi David,
I just opened my first trade with the registered version and noticed a problem. i didn't notice this before because I had to work with this ridiculous 20% risk :-)
If I enter 7 in the new commision section, VO-PRO deducts that amount from my TP. As you can see my TP is double my SL yet I'd gain less money according to VO-PRO.
Any ideas?
tnxIgnored
DislikedIf I trade with 0.1 lots. the commission would be $0.7 cent and if I trade with 0.01 lots my commission would be 0.07 cent. VO_PRO doesn't seem to take that into account. If you look at the picture again you can see that my lot size is 0.04 which means a commission of $0.28 and not 7$Ignored
DislikedHi David,
I don't think that commissions are only there for promotional reasons. $7 per lot comes down to 0.7 pip. Add that to the spread and your better of than with most retail brokers. Of course you need an honest one that doesn't take the rest of his profit by slippage.

An action may be performed once only, or repeatedly. To have it performed once only, you must specify that the rule delete itself. This will occur immediately the action has been successfully performed on all of the specified order(s). Rules can also be instructed to delete other rules.
The attached screenshot shows some examples of possible rules:
Rules #1 & #2 are an OCO (one cancels the other) action. If the order# ending in 57118 opens, pending order# 57119 is deleted, and vice versa. When either one of the rules executes successfully, both rules are deleted.
Rules #3 thru #5 are the gradual closeout of an order, whose magic# is 151. When 30, 60 and 100 pip targets are met, 1/3 of the total position is closed, then 1/2 of the remaining position, then the rest of the position, respectively. Each rule deletes itself, immediately it has been executed successfully, to ensure that each action is performed only once.
Rule #6 is an example of a more complex rule. It will operate on all open EURUSD orders that are in profit by more than 20 pips, but only if the total profit on all selected orders exceeds 50 pips. The action that will be performed is to move the SL to breakeven+1pip, for each order that meets the 'more than 20 pips' condition.
Rule #7 will trail a SL 20 pips behind market price for all GBPJPY orders, when the order reaches breakeven (profit of $0 or more).
Rules #8 and #9 are an example of stealth TP and SL, i.e. no SL of TP level is physically entered in the order. In the example, these rules will be applied to any order that has the text 'stealth' anywhere in its Comment field. The order will close when profit exceeds 50 pips (rule #8) or if the loss exceeds 25 pips (rule #9).
Those are some examples illustrating what is possible with TM. I'm currently working on the rule entry screens. The text that you see in the screenshot is automatically built through the use of 'point-and-click' wizards (similar to those already available in VO-Pro). Hence TM is significantly more user-friendly than what might appear in the screenshot. If you understand the MT4 concepts of pending and open orders, closing orders, trailing SLs, and the idea that "if a condition's criteria are met, then perform a certain action", then you should have no problem understanding what is going on.
Moreover, there will be templates available for performing common operations. Less experienced users will be able to fill out a Q&A panel that automatically builds a rule, or block of rules, necessary to perform a given operation. Expert users will be able to create their own templates using a text editor like Notepad. Hence a growing library of templates may be created, and then shared in the community, just like indicators and EAs are created and shared in the MT4 community.

DislikedDavid,
You are amazing. This would suit one strategy I am looking at down to a tee, requiring a slightly modified OCO.
I love it when I can be reading, and start to ask "Yes, but what about ..." and then go "Ahhh" as you answer that in the following text or screenshots. It means you're a comprehensive and skilled developer.
VO-Pro is incredible value for money.
Thanks,

DislikedGreat tool! Curious does this work with MT4 build 432? I've been unable to adjust the risk percentage, it always changes back to 20% after clicking out of the risk box.
Thanks again!Ignored
