Dislikedactually, that's not an example of manipulation. a large speculator like Soros recognizes that the Sterling is inherently weak and bets heavily against it. His position is large enough to move the market, but if he's wrong the market would push back and he would lose.
if he's right (which Soros was) then the market gains momentum behind his move and he wins big. this is the beauty of naked short selling as a market mechanism for price to find fair valuation. if a large speculator punches a hole in the facade of an overinflated or deflated price,...Ignored

DislikedYou cannot ' hedge ' whilst price is below as any sell below that price will still result in a loss being locked in on one of the trades.
You should do what you think it is right to do and learn from it.

Ie if youi sell at say 5900 there will always be a 120pip loss locked in if you keepthem both open - so if you think it is going to go down you may consider closing the buy and opening a sell -or- if you think it will go up - you may considerleaving the buy open and buying again here (average in - not a practice I recommend personally.) Whatever though You should do what you think it is right to do and learn from...Ignored
