DislikedWhat a great post, Argonod! A picture is worth 1,000 words.
This is the classic concept of taking a method on a high TF, then using the same method on lower TF to tune your entry.
I know this is also what has been going on with M5 and M15, and with the dashboard. But I'm astonished no one commented on it all day.Ignored
QuoteDislikedI am thinking of reducing the Range Zone to -0.40 to 0.40. It seems to filter out some not so good trades. I would like to know if you have noticed this in your trading and would appreciate opinions.
DislikedHola My Friend,
Sometimes when you use the 5x5 ea's, your entry ends up being well within the bands. Is this still a valid entry?

DislikedI am sorry i dont really get it......
So you always would use 4000 in this example, but the margin is different in every pair right ? So you will use half the account at once so thats 2000. With a leverage of 50 that does mean that you will use 50 x 2000 is 1 lot ??
In the EU you would be able to go to -400 pips, correct ?Ignored
Dislikedhello all,
thanks too Al for this great topic.
has anyone noticed the TMAs while crossing each other on mtf?
use one time frame (any) and add tma to the chart with different timeframe value such as:60 for H1 and 240 for h4 ....
right now the h4 is crossing d1 downwardIgnored
DislikedI have been testing my latest version 22 of the dashboard...
- user determined timeframes
- user determined pairs/tradeable
- user determined position on your chart (vertically & horizontally)
- ability to have multiple dashboards on one chart
- GMT offset for correct pivot determination
I still have some more work to add:
- alerts (voice)
- email alerts
I am sending this version to Al for further testing.
I will update the manual for Version 22.

DislikedAl,
What do you think of reducing the Range Zone coupled with having a "true/false" setting in the !ExtremeTMA which only gives a Green Buy or a Red Sell when the slope is outside the Range Zone. In other words the user can set the !ExtremeTMA to ignore signals when TMA is ranging and determine the sensitivity and the number of trade setups generated merely by tightening or widening the Range. With Karl's new version permitting multiple dashboards on one chart we can be more selective in choosing setups since the number of currency pairs will...Ignored
DislikedGood morning guys,
I would like to know if someone of you is trading the 5min System (Entries and Exits based on the TMA Slope). I'Ve found the system in this pdf: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/24076989/Ext...%20ENGLISH.pdf
Sorry but I dont have enough time to read 350 pages and search for 5min-related posts - hope you understand this.
Anybody trading the 5min-System with success?
Thanks for this great system & its variations!
Regards,
