Dislikedbstay2, did you really swap GFTUK with DF? Curious to know as I just opened an account with GFTUK and got scared from the total negativity poured over them at the FPA site. So many negative reviews and not a single case - quite strange...Ignored

DislikedAfter trading with GFT UK by using live account, something that I missed to check while learning their trading platform by using demo account, which is FIFO rule. At first I thought, FIFO rule that applies to any US-based + NFA-regulated brokers is not applicable for GFT UK, but I'm wrong here. Haha.
FIFO rule is applies to all GFT clients regardless if I'm using either GFT UK, Australia or Singapore.
So, for those who want to avoid FIFO rule, personally, GFT UK / AU / SG are not suitable for this group, unless GFT starts to remove FIFO...Ignored
DislikedI think if you wanna hedge and do not wanna to be offset you'd need to trade fx and CFDs. I mean that if you want to open long position and then short position on eur/usd, you'd better do it by trading eur/usd.fx and eur/usd.cfd as these are different instruments. In this case you omit FIFO rules
what I can not understand is why GFT UK has 3 pip spread on aud/usd every Thursday till 9 am London time? Why only Thursday (from opening till 9 am)? After 9 am aussie spread becomes normal (<=2 pips)Ignored
DislikedI didn't like the frequent "requotes" and "delays" in execution at intraday highs and lows, the GFT dealer wasn't nice. So I moved my GFT account to DFMarkets now. Just me of course.
Compare the spread differences pictures again between GFT MT4 and GoMarkets MT4 when prices are testing intraday Highs or Lows. See the differences.Ignored
