DislikedAlso, on the 1 min system by REALJUMPER, it doesnt seem like the STO meets the requierments of the system often. What I mean for example is, on a short - all the indicators line up, everything is a go, but STO is already trading below 50. This happens way more often then not. I'm wondering how people are getting 10-15 trades per day using this when I dont see it happening that often. Can someone clearify..... Thanks!Ignored
You can see that the long trade he took met the requirements as laid out by Eval.....no problem there. But the previous short, that Seabreeze didn't take was still a valid short......but......the stoch was way down......below what was laid out by Eval. But......see where the stocjh was when the move began, but was no yet confirmed? Yep....way above 80. Because the move began five or six minutes before Matrix agreed, and at that time stoch was above 80, I would still take the trade, even though *at the time of the trade entry* stoch was below the perfect position....ie above 50.
If you read back (I know there's lots of posts) where I show my M1 trades on the chart and give the reasons, I always say, "stoch falling" for shorts or "stoch rising" for longs. In all those cases, the stoch will have come from OS or OB a few candles before, when the move originated.
I don't trade using the stoch by numbers, and it's very hard to define a 'line in the sand', but if you do it as laid out by Eval, your success rate will be very high indeed. I do tend to fly 'by the seat of my pants' when I scalp the M1 charts, but in all trades I apply Symphonie + the Yellow MA + Stoch + Arrow. I won't *necessarily* wait for the arrow, and the stoch may not be above/below the 50 line (depending on short/long), but it most certainly would have originated from OS or OB just a few candles previously.
Hope that helps?
