Ok... so I want to srsly learn how to carry trade. At the moment I have no carry trades and want to initiate one. I'm currently looking at AUD/JPY and AUD/USD. But both of these doesn't seem longable judging from technicals.
I can understand the carry trade mentality. As long as you break even, you can let the rollovers pick up the profits for you over many months.
But, in times like these, how do you initiate a carry trade? Or do you have any rollover strategy? Or special multi pair hedge something strategy?
I'm sure at one point in time, interests rates will change and you will have to exit some positions or move to different pairs. At that point, where else do you look for to carry and how?
Most people on the internets just tell you the basics of carry trade. Nobody ever discussed a strategy on how to do this.
Any pointers are greatly appreaciated.
