DislikedHi finnsol (or any other, for what it matters),
Now, my problem is: both the indi's presented here have two levels. Second: your's and the previous are NOT the same thing, just based on the parameters: one requires an ATR period, the other a certain n. of days...
So, please: can you at least indicate some reference for home study?
Bye

DislikedRM I actualy entered this trade around the time i typed the my last message, but i moved my stop to BE as i was going to bed, shame. hope you had better luck as it was a nice run.
remember all, you don't have to bail at the next wrong candle, it was only a suggestion. if you have a different exit tactic then great. A lot of the time i just set my TP to a previous high or 100ma etc..Ignored
DislikedBelieve or not, but the best exit tactic in the world is 1:1 RR, i have been searching the best exit tactics for years and can't find the best one except this 1:1 RR.....This Business like marathon not a sprint, even 25-50 pips a day is very good pips for me.....Ignored
DislikedDepends on time frame doesn't it? not to mention position size?
Say, what if, see the chart, your system gives signals that are MUCH better than 1:1 Risk / Reward?
Sure, depending on stops, this may have had 1 loss, but surely catch the move with re-entry at arrow?
And then, what if you then added a small position every time it broke the previous day's high... and / or the previous position was at risk free level?
No, I didn't trade this, but sure watching for the reversal on some pairs, a run like this will make a good profit, just saying,...Ignored
QuoteDislikedBut let say we have an alternative exit tactic design for this strategy:
Based on your TP criteria (TP generally the lenght of the reversal candle)
If price reach 1:1 RR move to BE.....
If price reach 1:2 RR move to 1:1.....
If price reach 1:3 RR move to 1:2.....
DislikedI am updating my post above
Yes depend on time frame but like kraven criteria stick to Daily or just H1....
And kraven criteria has re-entry trade, but after all i think totally different way if you say it on this alternative trade exit, why should we open another trade in the same pair when the trade still develop?Ignored
DislikedYes, you are totally right, I was replying to the context of your post rather than the overall concept & method of this thread, excuse me while I catch up on the relevant content, thanks, E.Ignored
