This is off topic. i am posting it here because it is one of the largest threads.
I had every intention of coming home from work and trashing my new broker (MBT) to anyone that would listen. When I woke up this morning and checked my trades I saw huge spikes on my charts and my trades had been filled and stopped out on AU and UC. I quickly looked for any news that could cause such a spike and found none. I also checked my demo charts with other brokers and saw no such spikes. I saved my charts so that I could post them tonight. I fumed at work all day but when I finally got home and looked at my charts MBT had corrected the issue and properly filled my trades. I also had a nice email from one of the directors of MBT informing me that my trades had been erroneously filled. I left IBFX and FXCM for similar behavior without any corrections. It shouldn't have happened in the first place but I am trading tonight instead of broker shopping.
I don't wish to start a discussion on this. I only shared it because of my past ordeals with brokers when I started trading. I'm sure it will help someone. If you have a reputable broker that does right by their clients please plug them too. It will help a noob
