Dislikedanother example with GBP/USD:
10 october, we bought at 1.5618 as the previous candle closed morethan 100 pips from EMA 50.
We bought again at 1.5711 and 1.5976
We were stopped at 1.5876 with a global win of 323 pips.Ignored
DislikedI didn't test this pair.
...
But i don't know if parameters (100 pips from EMA50 for the first entry, 100 pips stop loss) are good for this pair. Maybe, they must be adapted for the pair. But the actual price (1.31) is not far from EUR/USD, so parameters could be good...Ignored
DislikedHi Zebulon,
thanks for your Idea on this Thread.
I like the concept of dancing with the Emas and having not much time to follow the charts the H4 is surely an interesting alternative.
I would just like to understand better your post above (actually the way to enter the trades):
You mentioned to add an enter at the bounce of the EMA50, which I understand, and you normally open the trades after the close of an H4 bar (which I would prefer for not being forced to follow the price during that candle), but in the last "Buy" order was placed during...Ignored
DislikedI think we don't look at the same candles. It depends of your broker. Maybe my 4 hour candle is from 11 to 3, and yours is from 12 to 4...Ignored
DislikedSorry, my fault.
I should have better attached your chart to my previous post to better explain my question:
In your below attached chart I do not clearly understand why you bought the 3rd time (Yellow highlighted bar).
I think it was because of the bounce of the EMA50.
Is that correct ?
Did you buy at the EMA50 ?
Shouldn't you (or I in future) wait for that candle to close and see if that Touch was a bounce of the EMA or a break through (like in this case) ?
Thank youIgnored
Dislikedyes, i bought when the price hit the EMA 50.
I don't wait for the candle to close.
you don't know if this yellow highlighted bar is really a break through. it depends of the future !Ignored
Many thanks
DislikedHello Zebulon,
Before my question - thank you for sharing this interesting system.
I see that the H4 signal candle must close 100 pips or more from the 50 EMA. However, I believe this candle must also touch the 50 EMA. Is this right?
Thanks - Cheoy LeeIgnored
DislikedHi Zebulon,
I guess you are already short in GU as per first white arrow in the chart attached.
Ema 50 is in this moment at about 80 pips above your short entry, so no SL yet.
Price is approaching to Touch the Ema 50.
- Will you add now a short trade (second white arrow) as soon as the price will touch the Ema 50 ?
- If yes, your new SL will be at 100 pips above the new entry ?
- The previous SL will remain at 100 pips above the first entry ?
Many thanks
