DislikedThe super-committee will be deadlocked just like congress, neither party is willing to concede their points. Democrats want to raise taxes to cover shortfall, Republicans want spending cuts.
When the Super-committee fails to deliver, automatic tax increases and cuts go into effect which will enrage both parties as both will just point fingers at each other as it has been for the last several years....... neither party is willing to take the initiative to lead without a mandate from the populace, which will not happen until the next election....Ignored
I view this as the market slowly digesting the situation as it develops in Europe. Vested intersts are holding the euro up, and those interested in driving the euro into the ground are finding it a real fight. The bond market will prevail here, so watch it closely. It is telling us where we are headed in the medium term.
IMHO.
