DislikedHi Frederico.
Renko bars have always intrigued me, yet for some reason I've never tried 'em. Until now. As a Renko rookie, I hope my input won't be too naive.
Fearful, greedy bastard that I am, I hate getting into a move even a little late, and my feeling is that early entries not only ensure more profit, they also have smaller stops. Obviously, some traders prefer to let a move get a head of steam up before jumping in, but Renko creates a different set of rules, it would appear. With that said, changing the MA cross from a 4/7 to a 1/5 produces...Ignored
Pinhead.....the major problem of using such a small Ma like 1 and 5, which besides giving many false signals, you can not see the big picture. After trying every possible strategy, I learned that the biggest key to success is the R:R. It took me time to understand this concept, and I advise you to really master it, because this is the big key. When you say "at least 25 pips," sure you can, but the big problem is when you lose, SL in your strategy could be to a maximum of 25 pips, which would give 1:1, and then the strategy would lose all force . I think you understand what I mean. I got the MA 4-7 because they give me a better view of what's happening (and believe me, I've tried every possible combination of MA, lol), the filter that you want, RENKO makes the job, becousethe 25 size bricks already eliminated much of the noise, and if you have a good knowledge of PA, you'll be on the positive side ... I hope I have helped, otherwise I'm here ...
