DislikedCloggs , what do you make of UK gdp? better than expected but still not that great - instant rally of almost 100 pips on cableIgnored
IT was right on the number. The markets are slowly coming around to the UK's way of thinking, they were ridiculed when CAM/OS first announced their plans. Now the rest of the world is slowly catching up. There are still major issues in the UK, but I for one think they are on the right track and the markets seem to agree with me.
I have been a big fan of CAM/OS policies from the start, see some of my posts on the GU thread and have always said this is the way to go, guess what, the markets have validated my view.
The beauty of the UK is its independence right now and the BOE stubborn drive to keep the pound down, rates down and CAM/OS determination to do something about the debt, coupled with a stronger focus on manufacturing and engineering.
This will become the turning point in the UK and a more prominent position within the EU without having to join the euro.
