Damn... I should have gotten out of that long earlier so I could have jumped on the short just now (pinbar off of the 38.2 retracement of friday's down swing, I can confidently say I would have taken that if I was not already in a trade).
I find myself occasionally caught between the "let your winners run" mentality that gets drilled into traders' heads in every thread, and the logical conclusion that if I see a setup for a short, its by definition a good place to exit a long.
With the trades I've taken during June (which have all been posted in this thread), I've experimented with being very aggressive in terms of taking profits (and limiting my downside). In the past I've had a tendency to let my winners turn into losers, and not give my losers a chance to turn into winners.
