DislikedI am not changing big E rule but just more technical.
I BELIEVE MUCH IN MOMENTUM TRADING ALONG THE TREND...........
Most of the trades that gave me big moves are london season, then followed by american season.
Now, what really helped me more was the bounce trade on 1hr and 4hr. That is why my tp is around 50-70 pips. I am very comfortable with it. Over 80% of my wins are bounce.(may be i will stick to that, since i cant create the trend but follows it).As you can see from the chart here, if i am trading on 4hr...Ignored

DislikedHi KCV
This Histo is one time frame higher than the time frame chart that you have open. If you have the normal Histo on your chart and add this Histo it will show the higher time frame as well as the time frame you are watching. eg. if you are watching a 1 hour chart with the normal histogram, when this one is added it will show the next time frame higher, 4 hour,
hope I have explained ok

DislikedWell thanks, I hope your feeling better.
The red lines are just a trend line indicator that draws your trend lines for you. And the SR indicator just draws the major areas of support and resistance. They are there only to help you with the 4X basics, they change none of the rules of the BigE system, only consult them after all the TMS method rules have been met.
Price bounces off these trend lines all day long and it shows you a pretty good picture of what the trend is on the higher time frames. Ignore the bottom and very top trend line (that...Ignored

DislikedThese are my 2 cents inputs for filtering H4 setups on this method :
1. look for D1 and W1 both having STO on the same side of 50%. (this define a strong trend)
2. wait for a H4 pullback (contrarian of the trend from point 1)-minimum 23% percent FIB retracement
3. enter after HA candle change color after the pullback pull back , indicating the return of the trend in the same direction as point 1.
4 (optional but high rewarding) drill down to a lower TF -H1 or M15- and enter from here setting target accordingly with H4 TF (0% and -27% FIB retracement/extension...Ignored
DislikedHi folks, hope everybody had a good weekend.
Does anybody have any advice on what to do when multiple trades present themselves on the same curreny? Right now there are several good looking trades shorting the Euro on th daily chart - AUD, GBP, CAD, USD.
Do you go in on all of them regardless, and trust the system. Or do you just do one or two of them?
Thanks for your advice.Ignored

DislikedYes you are missing a news event. http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquak...usc0004651.php On the right side of the trade, you're lucky. On the wrong side, stoploss is your best friend. Traders have no control over events like this.Ignored
DislikedYes no worries KC
This is the normal Histo that shows the time frame that you have openIgnored
Dislikedsorry I should have added.......In my opinion....filter out the one you think is the absolute best....trade it as you would normally and if you like the others trade mini lots or just follow them and see what happens. Dont get trapped into over trading.Ignored
DislikedWell im officially off this strategy. My thanks to Big E for sharing it. But from my experiences and others i've been watching on here, to me it doesn't seem any more profitable than many other strategies. Once again, your profitability will probably come down to
a) Your own discretionary decisions based on how experienced you are in forex
b) Whether it suits your personality and trading style, which it obviously does for Big E which is why he does so well with it.
Anyone agree/disagree?Ignored

I agree, that some methods will obviously be more compatible than others to a trader's personality, risk profile, intelligence, capital etc, but don't be too quick to dismiss a strategy until you have given it (and yourself) justice. For me - I need to be giving it my full attention for at least 8 weeks before I can, with any degree of confidence and legitimacy, discount it as a fit and/or profitable.
Every method has its limitations, but this one does work, across different timeframes and is easy to implement. It does provide some very objective parameters for entry / exit, but of course, to optimise it you need to have a strong handle on basic price action.
I wish you luck on the "journey".

DislikedHi Aussie
Each to their own I suppose. Ignore this if you are a full-time, profitable trader, but I can tell you from personal experience that:
[list][*]FF has many different profitable strategies[*]Most new traders jump from strategy to strategy, indicator to indicator every few weeks (this site is a bloody candy shop that encourages over-eating!)[*]The reason they keep changing is because they keep losing[*]The reason they keep losing has nothing to do with the strategy and all to do with the failure to implement the strategy in...Ignored
