I never place 2 stop orders. These are hourly candles. When I was stopped out, the subsequent candle closed ON the blue line and was a bullish divergent candle, it screamed "ignore me!"
The candle after that closed well enough above the blue line that I placed a pending long order, which never triggered.
The candle after that blasted off downward and was too late to enter, you would have no way of knowing this, given the previous 2 candles were bullish in nature. It closed too far away from the blue line for me to attempt re-entry.
No where in this 3 hour time frame did I place two pending orders at the same time.
Look - I don't want to be long winded here, but please if you are trying to keep it simple, don't change the rules. This leads to people second guessing. I got tired yesterday and needed a break. I will clarify matters today if needed.
It should go without saying that a person should have some grasp of trading before attempting to trade, a general knowledge.
I appreciate your KISS attempt, but in the future please PM me first before changing the rules that I use, and posted here. See the rules of this forum at the end of post#1.
Thank you for your contribution.

DislikedFinally, on another note, the balance line you use (Blue Line) from the alligator is nothing more the a 13 Median MA Smoothed with an 8 shift.
For the sake of keeping things as simple as possible for the explanation of the system.

What your left with is a MA cross system that uses the statistical advantage of knowing that when the price reaches the MA, its initial move from the MA is likely to be a continuous move for the next several periods.
Here is a picture of the GBPUSD with what I hope are slightly better explanations...Ignored
