My point is that what makes a analyst out there is more related to a roll of a dice than actually knowledge. And the beauty of their profession is that if they are right they capitalize on it, if not...well...nothing happens. They have ZERO liability about what they say.
On the movie "broke" a guy that comments very often on CNBC explicitly acknowledge to the fact that if he is right or wrong does not really matters for the network. For as long as he act politely in front of the cameras they will keep calling him back.
Can the E/U go to 1.94? Of course it can. I personally believe it will go to 0.94 before 1.94, but the point is that this guy just rolled the dices. If indeed the pair shuts up in a relative short amount of time he will capitalize on it. He may even become a new guru because he was bold in his call. But how much does he really believe in what he is saying?
I trade technically meaning that I listen to those people for entertainment only and in doing so I can't help but wonder if people like Peter Schiff, Karl Denninger, Marc Faber and countless other really know ( or believe) in what they are talking about or are just capitalizing in a "bet" they did a while ago.
