DislikedI'm curious as to how many people use sentiment readings in their EURUSD trading?Ignored
DislikedFinefine, follow your system and you will be free from feeling guilty (and can optimize it if it fails, so it improves with every loss). Then just make sure that you don't have large losing trades (i.e. don't sit and watch it get bigger, have the balls to cut the losses once it's clear that you're not seeing what you intend to see, but not earlier).

Dislikedfollowing up on the discussion about sentiment - what "everyone" thinks is not important, and most probably will not give you profits (not the mass wins, the others are ). since that is your trade, you have to pull the trigger and know why.Ignored
DislikedRight now both dailyfx and dukascopy are showing that sentiment is long...so yes, I miss out on the retracements, but my feeling is that I don't want to be caught on the wrong side of the trend when trying to pick up a few pips.Ignored
Dislikedyaya its more of a gloating thing since everyone says im a bad trader I want to show some of them whats really goin on here. mostly just listening to nusic watching closely waiting for the big moves.Ignored
Dislikedwatch out for the news, we've quite a bunch this week, although fundamentals recently haven't played their roles well, at least shortterm,
otherwise this would be a nice estimation:Ignored
Dislikedthats good you brought up the news my mas are great i can see breakout s very clearly so i dont worry about news just have my finger on the trigger or a stop but not too close.Ignored
DislikedI'm not sure of any of the others you mention, but I'm not sure if you are reading the Dukas data correctly. Consumers have been short with them for a long, long time. At present:
55.54% of Consumers (us) are Short. 44.46% are Long
Therefore:
55.54% of Providers (them) are Long. 44.46% are ShortIgnored

DislikedYou left out part of my message. I said, "I use the Dukascopy provider data..." I go with what the Providers are doing, not the Consumers.Ignored
DislikedI'm interested in your experiment. Although I don't understand how short term sentiments can help scalping. What are you attempting to extract that price action itself cannot give? Are you trying to generate some kind of market internal data? If yes, then keep me postedIgnored
DislikedIn fairness...very rare around these parts, too. Pips in bank...clean clothes all around coming up!
Have to go finish the laundry now. Will help to have a fresh look anyway.
Back in a bit.Ignored
