DislikedDoes anybody of you that use FinFX receive message "Trade Timeout" when market starts moving.Ignored
DislikedI have only had a live account with them about a week.
...
Also if you sign up for Finfx make sure you use an IB.Ignored
DislikedYou will receive this message when there is no liquidity to fill your trade in a fast moving market and it is just sitting there waiting for the price to move back and hit your order price again. Or if you are dealing with a market maker and they are not willing to take the other side of the trade, they just let the market order lapse. So it depends what type of account you have with FinFX but you should not have this problem with an ECN account.Ignored
Disliked.. I have a friend who has a larger account with FinFX, so i was asked to do some checking. The CEO Jani Hjerppe is also behind this venture http://www.leotraderpro.com/ which doesn't really help to establish his background as very trust worthy... however just selling some bloated EAs doesn't make you a crook, right...?
FOREX is a true wild west with almost no regulation and a lot of shady characters operating... caveat emptor!!Ignored
Dislikedyes they indeed are true ECN, with 2500 euro min. deposit! As in any intermediary there can and will be slipage, butw with honest ECN it can be in both direction, unlike with broker that normally only have slipage to client disadvantage!!
If I understood correctly, their MT4 bridge and liquidity is through PrimeXM.Ignored

DislikedWell, apparently, my Trade Timeout error was caused by ForexVPS because I got same error on Alpari UK demo account. So it was not FinFX fault after all.
I have complained to ForexVPS and today the connection was perfect so we'll see if it will stay this way or I'll have to change to another VPS provider. They probably overloaded the server with too many virtual machines and everything was sooo slow, from connection to it, to working on it. Annoying...Ignored
DislikedBit off the topic, but would be nice to hear about good VPN, I've also had trouble and currently using my own server, but would prefer to find reliable and well functioning VPN!Ignored
