DislikedGVC: Question....
I know you've been playing 1Hr...but on 4hr, the EURUSD has been trending pretty strongly...it also appears that Sidus trends quite well....as such, since you are following EURUSD as the lead pair, why would you exit trades at Pivots if you know the trend strength is strong and as such, wouldn't you want to milk the trend until it ends?
In one of your earlier posts, you said you go in and out rather quickly of trades....just curious from a standpoint of maximizing the moves...Ignored
DislikedGVC,
It would be helpful to provide some examples of what you look for in trading jumping pairs (if you have some time). Thanks!Ignored
DislikedLook at the CHFJPY on the middle chart above on the H1 TF.
When you start the week the pair is situated 3rd from top. When it has gone down 3 positions it means that the CHF is getting stonger, so I will place a Buy order on that pair. If the pair goes all the way to the bottom i will leave the Buy order to run. Once it has left the bottom and has risen by 2 positions then I close the order.
Even if you open mt4 in the middle of the week, take note of the positions of the pairs and use the same pricipals from mt4 open.

DislikedYep that happens from time time.Where the pairs go out of sync. Usually due to fundamentals.
I closed my short basket yesterday at $274 profit. Reason being that the price on EURUSD was battling to close below the pivot at 1.4433 and a Doji candle on the H1. In hindsight I could have left it as it broke down through that pivot 4 candles later, then again it could have gone the other way.
Todays Long is $200 in DD. I would have closed it earlier on the 2nd Bear candle from the days high on the EURUSD (In Profit), but I was not in front of my...Ignored

Thanks for starting this thread.
I have been reading T101 thread for sometimes and still trying the "jumping" method.
Could you help to explain a bit on "Where the pairs go out of sync".
What does this "out of sync" means?
