Hi all,
After spending some time at the end of December renewing my interest in trading and forex, I came to this forum to find my way again. I have always liked the J16 folks and many of you have been very helpful and instrumental in my understanding of markets. Since December, after much careful research, I have plunged myself into the futures market and will not be pursuing spot forex any longer, though I do monitor the euro futures contract.
A few years ago I wrote an indicator for MT4 that calculated the position size to take based on a risk tolerance using lines on the screen to set the protective stop level. At the time I released the code here on FF, but with an expiration date. I could not find the old code so in December I rewrote what I feel is a better looking version of the indicator, only this time with no expiration date. I am releasing it here free of charge for your personal use. Since I am no longer using MT4 I will not be updating it at all, and I cannot guarantee the accuracy of the code, though it worked well for me when I used it this time around. I used it on a version of MT4 (MB Trading I think) that uses the .99999 format, so I'm unsure if it works properly for .9999, though I think so.
As this site also focuses on forex almost exclusively, I will no longer be posting here as I will only be trading futures and not spot forex. Thank you all for your help and good luck trading!
