First I want to say Hi to all of you. I've been lurking here for a week or so and I feel like I'm learning a lot. I've been in and out of forex for a couple of years but I've never taken the time to really apply myself and have really done nothing but lose a few bucks. I'm hoping to change all that soon by learning as much as I can before getting back into the mix.
I work during the day. I've decided that whatever system or method I follow needs to work primarily off the daily charts. I'm not going to be able to watch charts every day and I'd like to just put my trades in during the evenings and forget about them until they hit stops or takes.
Here's what I need in a broker.
1 - The ability to trade fractional lots. I need 10 cent pips. I know thats small but my money management requires it for the amount I can afford right now.
2 - Web based trading software. I love MetaTrader. It's fun and I'm used to it but unfortunately I can not install software on my office pc so it's out.
3 - Charting that supports Weekly and Monthly granularity. When trading on the daily charts I like this higher level of granularity to see longer term trends.
So far I've discovered OANDA (meets #1 and #2 but not #3) and FOREX.com (meets #2 and #3 but not #1) and unfortunately MetaStock brokers don't meet #2 but meet #1 and #3.
This is frustrating. Do any of youse folks knew of a broker that meets all 3 of my criteria?
Many thanks for any help!
