Hi guys,
Need your feedback here so I can compare notes with you:
I am using FXPro and since January I have noticed a significant increase in execution time, reaching 3 seconds for opening/closing a trade. I used to get almost instant execution at 1'' or less up to now. Here is my situation:
-I am using two different computers from two different places with two different internet providers and this behavior happens in both and it was not happening before.
-I don't have many indicators, just a few moving averages and I am deleting the old objects in the charts regularly.
-I am using maximum deviation and I am using my computer only for trading.
- After FXPro advice, I have eliminated most of the instruments that I am not using
- After FXPro advice, I have eliminated all the charts that I am not using
Here are some examples from my journal today:
11:05:53 'YYYYYY': close order #XXXXXX2 sell
11:05:55 'YYYYYY': request was accepted by server
11:05:56 'YYYYYY': request in process
11:05:56 'YYYYYY': order #XXXXXX2 sell closed
11:10:25 'YYYYYY': instant order buy
11:10:27 'YYYYYY': request was accepted by server
11:10:28 'YYYYYY': request in process
11:10:28 'YYYYYY': order was opened
All of them were at 3'' execution, which for me is critical.
Now my questions to you guys:
1. Anybody noticed any increase at FXPro execution times?
2. Anybody noticed any increase at their MT4 execution time (irrespectively of broker) and was able to fix it somehow?
3. Anybody noticed any increase at FXPro execution times when their lot size became significant?
I would appreciate your responses.

P.S. To see how fast your trades were executed look at the Journal tab at the bottom of your MT4. Alternatively, you can open the last log file in /Program Files/FXPro Metatrader/logs/
