Anywho, what figure would equates to a 'break even' profit in this scenario? Does break even mean an r:r of 1:1?
What do you you mean by 'break even +2'? Risk:Reward of 1:2?
Danke.
Where can I learn more about Price Action like those in James16 charts? 9 replies
DislikedIndeed it is I entered a micro trade at break of the 'pin bar' (only technically it may not be, given it failed to close inside the previous candle).

DislikedHey 5, what's up.
Since it failed to close below the previous high, it is not a valid pin bar. The location is nice however, as you noted.

DislikedGreat song PB - Any chance you have seen their "Stop Making Sense" video concert from 1984? I am a fan personally, way ahead of their time.
Yeah, I have all their videos. Yeah, I saw that concert but can't remember where on the planet it was, I was so blitzed.
I'll continue to study and learn from everything posted here, and I've much to learn, especially with regards to taking only A++ setups.Ignored
DislikedThanks for reminding ! I love that song and the band .. Good one !

Quoting Pinbar;4334700...Traders seem to have such horrible taste in music. I am glad we have another Talking Heads fan and not another ABBA fan. DislikedHi all
Here's a pair which is hovering around parity, and my very limited knowledge of the markets tells me it's time for some major decisions.
I, and I'm sure, all those shorting Wednesday's daily PB would love to get some expert opinions on the big picture.
I've taken out all PPZ's and BRN's, only for the sake of visual clarity.
Maybe some breakout experts could give their opinions on this pair for a possible carry trade. I know around such a VBRN it may decide to range for a while, but does it not look more wedge than rectangle?...Ignored

I think "Take me to the river" is the sexiest song I have ever heard.
You can tell, I had what some may call a "misspent youth". Lol, I think it served me rather well actually.

DislikedWell, that is what I thought about it. LoL
I seem to remember you previously saying a PPZ can be 2-300 pips in width?
If you are asking me what I think about how you went about working out that area. I think it shows us, that we can plan a possible area to look for some serious PA that may help us catch a trend change or very decent runner, days or even weeks in advance.Ignored
DislikedHey PB
My favourite band Radiohead took their name from one of TH songs.
I love this one:

I am not an ABBA fan but they had some interesting song arrangements so i wouldnt puke on them. I would puke on KANE WEST or most of those "I am the center of universe , and i dont give a rats ass about anyones music becouse me and mine korg triton can do things you can only dream of , i dont know how to sing but i got autotune OMGOMGOMG" fake hip hop starts now days.Ignored
