DislikedThanks Steve, I have been following your Beast thread and am really looking forward to this one...I have two demos for the Beast and I am setting one up for this one now. I would love to be able to post some of my statements but I haven't been vouched for yet.Ignored
DislikedHi Steve , thank you for your work as usual - I don't post often so dont shoot me down please- in a previous posting on bobs thread for this system some back testing was done using sl set to half of distance between previous hi/low and entry. This resulted in a drop in successful trades from 55% - 38% but a profit expectancy increase from .35 to .85. The equity curve was improved drastically - TP was opposite tma band. DislikedAnybody able to make the bot draw the different ma/tma lines is most welcome to post a version here that we can adopt as the post 1 version. Also, I can learn from how this is done.

DislikedSteve, I'm somewhat behind the thread with this answer. As I understand it EAs are limited to drawing of straight lines, such as fibs, S/R etc. Reason being you can't define buffers as for done for indicators, indicators basically just being visual representations of buffers. I dug around trying to find how to do this a year ago and this is the answer I kept getting from the coders.Ignored
QuoteDislikedOn a positive note, I did find out to pause a visual backtest as soon as it starts, right click on the chart, apply the template then restart. A real Duh moment. Cheers.
DislikedI am running the manual system in conjunction with the bot for a comparison basis. I have had a couple of manual trades fire that when I look at the bot they are not taken and the trading status description says not looking for a trigger. The middle line of the tma and the weekly ma were touching at the time. I am wondering if you built in a buffer there or if there is another reason that is escaping me.Ignored

DislikedI can add this as an option. Until then, set PipsAddToStopLoss to 0, go to void LookForTradeTrigger() and find the two lines of code (1 for buy and 1 for sell):
stop = GetLow();
stop = GetHigh();
