Mine hasn`t traded yet either. It did before the weekend when I set the RSI filter to false, but not anymore. It opened nearly 10 trades in a couple of hours.

DislikedVerison 2 is what I'm using. Everything should be corrected and it seems to be working fine for me. What bugs are you encountering?
Thanks!Ignored
Dislikedi usually get Old Tick errors if I download history... just don't download history, or if you did, just install another MT4 in another folder.Ignored
DislikedI must confess that I have never had much faith in EAs until I came across your thread TallCoolOne. Have you ever considered running your system via a PAMM or other places such as Zulutrade? Perhaps you could help others like myself while making a bit extra coin for yourself.
Incidentally the word "MARI" means money, in my Shona language. Wish you many more happy green pips.Ignored
DislikedHi Tsotsi. Thanks! My wifes name is Mary - so it kinda a play on that. This EA will have trouble sometimes when you get a double dip on the MACD. I'm experiencing that now on EURGBP and AUDUSD. Currently I'm up $886 with a DD of -198. I could cut those trades loose and take a $60-70$ hit, but i may just let them go and see how it plays out. I think for this EA to be profitable, you have to let it trade as much as it wants. You have to let it up the lotsize(this acts as kind of a recovery element) and you need to trade a lot of pairs to spread the...Ignored
DislikedTCO could you just post version 2 on your next post? I'm not sure if I have ver 2 or not after messing around.
Before it stopped trading I'd been messing with a slightly higher trailing stop and seemed to still do pretty well. It would be nice if you could let all your trades run unattended just to see how the EA responds. Be interesting to see how the month of Dec. plays out since Bob notes that it usually goes into long trends.Ignored
DislikedGuys I've read the whole thread but still couldn't figure something out.
TCO mentions along the thread that the EA should be attached to the higher TF (H1)... though it has been said several times that the EA only gauges direction using the higher TF (H1 right?) and triggers entries using M5
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't this be attached to the M5 to trigger entries then?
Also TCO, one question: I want to test the EA but without increasing any lot sizes (for now). Is there a way to set the parameter to not increase lot sizes...Ignored

DislikedYou probably could put it on the smaller time frame chart, and also put TMA indicator on the chart and watch it trade that way. You may want to multiple the parameters for MACD and RSI on the template by 12 if you are using 5 mins for your small time frame and 1 hour for your large time frame.Ignored
DislikedHi TCO,
Are you using default true for conservative filter settings of Buy Above/sell below zero? Thank you.Ignored

DislikedHi Guys,
I created the small time frame template with the TMA, but you will have to use MARI V3.0 with it. I had the MACD code with a zero for the period, so it would the smaller time frame instead of the larger time frame. I changed it so it uses the LargerTimeFrame variable that we set at and external parm. Please let me know if you find any issues with it. I'm back testing it now on GBPJPY and my results look the same as they did with the old template and program. The are two MA on the template. The Dodger Blue is the Sell EMA and the Aqua...Ignored
DislikedHere is version 2. It should be error free (hopefully?) If you find some errors let me know. The only errors I seem to get are trailing stop errors when the EA is trying to set the TS for multiple trades - it seems to work it's way out. I will be interested to see how it plays out in demo over the next couple of months. If I get to 20,000 account bal, I will probably up my starting fixed lot size to 0.02.
Thanks!Ignored
