DislikedThere is a benefit for me and other traders to have a broker in Swiss jurisdiction. Given recent changes in US regulations the temptation of not to use US brokers is even more errr .... apparent.
It seems to be rather unusual to provide historic data to small account holders through JForex API that can be used for backtesting while failing to deliver the same through FIX API for large account holders.
I would hope Duka might revise their policy and come back to us in this thread in a couple of days with good newsIgnored

DislikedYour conclusion is wrong. There are many examples where american regulation affect business in Europe. Just for example, CMC Markets, IG Index and all other cfd firms do not accept american customers, since like forever.
Google for "greencompany podcasts" - they have a securities lawyer talking about extra-territorial powers of us regulation in depth. They also discuss FX and how the new regulation in the USA will affect foreign retail fx firms. DislikedYou mean a bully syndrome? Unfortunately I can see that to be a legitimate reason. I'll look at the podcast. I was under the impression that governments wouldn't allow this kind of oppression if they weren't on the same page. I've been aware of this for poker players in USA and offshore casinos but wasn't aware that this would get in on all of the legal businesses.Ignored

A guy supposedly named Symon, who apparently works for MOBforex, also responded in this thread (link).
