Hello Folks,
at some point I've found some threads about MT4 and machine set-up in case of a blackout, Internet connection fault, Computer fault etc.
I'm trying to find this since days, but do not have had any luck.
What I would like to achieve is to have two/three machines. In case one fails, the next one should take over.
My plan is to have one, maybe two at home - this would eliminate the failure of the Computer itself and one on another site, maybe a hosted Win server etc.
Can somebody maybe point me to some of those thready or tell me what your setup is to be prepared for the above scenarios?
I'm specifically trying to find solutions for the following:

I'm specifically trying to find solutions for the following:
- Make the next Computer active if Computer one fails (ping and timeout?)
- Start the terminal on the active machine.
- Is there a way to start MT4 with EAs activated/deactivated by default or trough the a command line (like "mt4.exe - expert" or "mt4.exe -noexpert" - just to name an example?
- Let the newly active machine send out alive information in case it dies also.
- Make sure to also let another machine take over in case MT terminal fail, but ping (Internet) is still running.
I appreciate any personal input and links to other threads or sites.
Thanks.
