DislikedHi Mart. That test EA seems to be working ok. I have tried a few manual buy // sell commands - no problem. Sorry I don't have time right now to check everything (checking the EA invocation will need a bit more time) but will get back to it later. I would say it will be good but I know I need to test it a bit more....Ignored
DislikedIt seem that I'm not able to set a proper trailing stop
I've tried what u guys suggested but it doesn't work.
When the price hit 40 pips it just put a stop loss on the lock pips setup (30).
Instead I would like to have the stop loss to follow the price behind 15 pips.
Can someone pls explain me better what parameter I must use for this case?
Thanks in advance.Ignored
DislikedDear Martin
The only aspect of this wonderful panel I am struggling with is the TP and TSL setting. I think others are having similar issues.
The USDJPY spike gives us a great case for this. I moved nearly 170 pips until I closed manually.
From the logs we have the following:
2010.09.14 13:31:21 '858365': order was opened : #17986456 buy 0.01 USDJPY at 83.399 sl: 0.000 tp: 0.000
2010.09.15 02:38:25 '858365': order #17986456 buy 0.01 USDJPY at 83.399 was modified -> sl: 83.699 tp: 0.000
2010.09.15 06:53:38 '858365': order #17986456 buy 0.01...Ignored
DislikedWhat I am trying to achieve is this:
-When profit >= 40, lock 30 pips
-TSL Trail price by 10 (I think 20 is more appropriate but for the sake of the example let's go with 10)Ignored
extern bool TrailingBarStop = true; extern int TrailingBarsBack = 2; <-- amount of bars behind current you want to trail extern int Space = 10; <-- amount of pips above or below bar High/Low ---------------------------------------- double TrailBarHigh() { double TrailBarHigh = (NormalizeDouble(High[TrailingBarsBack],Digits)+(Spread*Point)+(Space*Point)); double TrailBarHigh1 = (NormalizeDouble(High[TrailingBarsBack-1],Digits)+(Spread*Point)+(Space*Point)); double TrailBarHigh2 = (NormalizeDouble(High[TrailingBarsBack-2],Digits)+(Spread*Point)+(Space*Point)); double TrailBarHigh3 = (NormalizeDouble(High[TrailingBarsBack-3],Digits)+(Spread*Point)+(Space*Point)); if(TrailingBarsBack==1) {return(TrailBarHigh);} if(TrailingBarsBack==2) { if (TrailBarHigh<TrailBarHigh1) {return(TrailBarHigh1);} else {return(TrailBarHigh);} } if(TrailingBarsBack==3) { if (TrailBarHigh<TrailBarHigh1 && TrailBarHigh1>TrailBarHigh2) {return(TrailBarHigh1);} else if (TrailBarHigh<TrailBarHigh1 && TrailBarHigh1<TrailBarHigh2) {return(TrailBarHigh2);} else {return(TrailBarHigh);} } if(TrailingBarsBack==4) { if (TrailBarHigh<TrailBarHigh1 && TrailBarHigh1>TrailBarHigh2 && TrailBarHigh2>TrailBarHigh3) {return(TrailBarHigh1);} else if (TrailBarHigh<TrailBarHigh1 && TrailBarHigh1<TrailBarHigh2 && TrailBarHigh2>TrailBarHigh3) {return(TrailBarHigh2);} else if (TrailBarHigh<TrailBarHigh1 && TrailBarHigh1<TrailBarHigh2 && TrailBarHigh2<TrailBarHigh3) {return(TrailBarHigh3);} else {return(TrailBarHigh);} } } -------------------------------------------- if (TrailingBarStop == true && NormalizeDouble(OrderStopLoss(),Digits)>NormalizeDouble(TrailBarHigh(),Digits)) { if(MathAbs(NormalizeDouble((stoploss-Bid), Digits)) >= (MarketInfo(Symbol(), MODE_STOPLEVEL) * Point)) { OrderModify(OrderTicket(),OrderOpenPrice(),NormalizeDouble(TrailBarHigh(),Digits),OrderTakeProfit(),0,0); }
DislikedI have recently began using NH4 and bobs system and am really enjoying it.
I did notice one thing, currently the only 2 exit strategies that I found which allow a trade to run are the trailing stop, and the jumping stop.
I have developed a few EA's in the past and found that a trailing stop that sits above the previous bar high/low or the bar high/low of "x" amount of bars behind usually works great for letting the runners run.
I love the panel and use it for my trading, is there a way you can add this feature into the panel?
I have copied...Ignored
DislikedHi,
It's already available. Use TS_Mode=2 and set the number of back candle where you want the SL to trail, ex: TSmode2.CandleTrailing=1 for SL set at high/low of previous candle.
The only feature I don't have is the "space" value you have integrated in your routine. I can add that easily.
Note that this mode of trailing works with the TS_StartAtTPlevel too. Set this value to 0 for the mode to engaged from the beginning. SL will be trail if the value for it is over or equal BE .
Cheers

DislikedI am having an issue with the SIXTHS Ind and the Re-entry lines showing up on multiple charts.
For example, if I have a EU/US window open, along with a EU/CH I can see the SIXTH for the EU/US in the EU/CH, If i delete the line from the SIXTH that doesnt belong it reapears.
I have also noticed this happening with the re-entry line, I can see it in the EU/CH when it is only supposed to be on a EU/US trade.
I am using MB Trader for my platform.
Thanks,Ignored
