DislikedAgreed. EUR/JPY bullish. 8 hour chart tells you everything. Macro view confirms. Weakening US data and possibility of QE II ( as yesterday expressed by Jim O´Neill from Goldman ) will pump up EUR/USD. JPY high probability of interventions ( although for now a lot of talk, no action from BOJ).
I am impressed Serbia has some clever Forex traders
By the way : what´s the trading platform you are using ?Ignored

DislikedI hope so.. the pair also reversed on Camarilla H3.
But on 4 Hour chart, the trendline still holding..Ignored
DislikedNice chart...ten hours ago. That trendline is the lower part of a bear flag on the larger 1h/4h timeframes based on what I see. Here's a little bit more elaboration through a chart.

Note how I use trendlines of previous trends to determine resistance/support levels to estimate potential targets.
One other very important sidenote. Unemployment numbers in ONE HOUR. For that reason I only have half a regular position in the market. I am quite bullish swing term...quite bearish long term and see today as a massive bear...Ignored

DislikedWhen it comes to the news my logic is this. The last 2 days, every time there was major news coming during the US session, the Eur/Jpy went down in expectation of the bad news, and when the data came out (record lows on home sales data for example), the Eur/Jpy went up (as did USD/JPY and Eur/Usd since these 3 pairs are heavily correlated right now). In other words, bad data led to Euro strength.
Today, the market consolidated lower again. But for once the data was better then expected. Naturally the reaction should be opposite the data, to mislead...Ignored

DislikedNo offense but this thread will never have many contributions. Very few people trade the Eur/Jpy. This pair is extremely volatile and for the traders that prefer more risk exposure, geppy is the name. I never understood why since that pair is more gambling then anything. You need an insane stop loss on that pair and even that may not be enough. Entry timing has to be...perfect....Ignored

DislikedFor me, the Eur/Jpy is just right, the technicals apply and there is plenty of "manageable" volatility.Ignored
